About Because of Bubble Rescue INC.

  Our mission is to help the true underdog, but what do we mean when we say this? The underdog is the dog who has been neglected, abused, mistreated, starved, and or left to die in a shelter. These are the dogs that have known nothing but pain and suffering their whole lives, the dogs that people walk past in the shelter and give no time of day because of the life they unfortunately have had to live. 

Because of Bubbles Rescue was started in 2023 as a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue and was founded by Amanda and Andrew Schmitz. Amanda had been working for/with local shelters, SPCA's, and rescues for years doing everything from adoption coordination to fostering and transportation wherever she lived. Andrew is an active-duty Marine who has volunteered for local shelters, SPCA's, and rescues wherever he was stationed helping out however he could. 

Because of Bubbles Rescue was started because of our Blue Pitbull mix Bubbles. Bubbles was brought into the shelter with her sister, unfortunately her sister died on the way to the shelter. Bubbles was not in much better shape and needed to be nursed back to health. Bubbles was a true underdog left to die on the side of the road but instead she stole our hearts and inspired us to help more dogs in need. 

We are a small rescue in North Carolina just getting started doing what we can for the underdogs in need. We may be small now but we have big goals to become something larger than life, able to impact as many animals as possible across the United States.
